Meet Mike
Mike LiPetri is a former New York State Assemblyman and current Republican Nominee for Congress in New York’s 3rd Congressional District!
A proven vote-getter, at just 28 years old Mike knocked on over 20,000 doors to successfully defeat an Incumbent Democrat and win a seat in the NYS Assembly.
Hard work, determination, common sense, and doing what is right – not what is easy – are Mike’s guiding principles. As a NYS Assemblyman, Mike was a champion of law enforcement, stood up against the out-of-touch far-left, and fought tirelessly to give the residents of Long Island a fearless voice in Albany.
In November, Mike will use that work ethic, drive, and dynamic leadership to secure a Republican victory in NY-03!

Border Security
We will immediately seal the southern border to all illegal immigration. Period. If you want to start a new life in this country and become a productive member of society then you need to get in line and follow the rules – just like everyone else.

Public Safety / Back The Blue
Our streets are plagued by a surge in quality of life crimes, leaving commuters, pedestrians, and homeowners living in fear. As a NYS Assemblyman, I stood tall against the lefts pro-crime agenda and proudly stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the men and women of Law Enforcement during the height of the ‘Defund the Police’ movement. In Congress, I will always fight for the safety of our families and communities!

Affordability / Cost Of Living
Overtaxation, crippling regulation, and endless red tape has resulted in New Yorkers fleeing this state in droves. Young people have limited opportunities and are set up to fail. Seniors can’t afford to stay in the homes they have lived in for decades. In Congress, we will take immediate action like repealing the SALT tax cap and creating new initiatives and incentives for homeowners, families, and business owners that reward those who work hard and play by the rules.

Environment / Water Quality
The Green New Deal and all these other out-of-touch climate policies are designed to control your life and limit your freedoms. We will not stand for it. I am committed to finding real solutions to the issues we face. As a NYS Assemblyman, I led a Water Quality Task Force and fought for the full remediation of a Superfund Site. In Congress, I’ll prioritize greater funding for water infrastructure and local initiatives that promote health and safety.

Womens Rights / Abortion
I do not support a national abortion ban - period. What I am against are abortions in the final three months of a pregnancy outside of specific circumstances. 80% of Americans agree with me on this position. I will always fight to ensure all women have the access and care they need.

Stopping China
America's primary adversary, China, poses a significant threat through its infiltration and influence tactics. With vast land ownership and espionage attempts near military installations, including spying through telecommunications equipment, the danger is clear. In Congress, I'll focus on reducing our reliance on Chinese manufacturing, bolstering our economy, and safeguarding against threats to our national security.

Israel
Let me be clear. An enemy of Israel is an enemy of the United States. Cases of Jew hate - including right here at home in NY-03 - have reached and exceeded a tipping point. Our policy on this issue will be one of zero tolerance. I support the full eradication of Hamas and cutting the head of the snake - The Terror Republic of Iran. Israel has my support to defend itself and its people by any means necessary.

Veterans
My grandfather proudly served in the United States Army. He was my hero and fighting for Veterans rights and services in his memory is a cornerstone of my public policy. As a New York State Assemblyman, I tackled Veterans issues head-on. When Democrats cut critical funding for the Joseph P. Dwyer Peer to Peer Support Project, I fought to get this funding back in the budget. We also ensured that a permanent director was appointed to the NYS Division of Veterans’ Services.

Fentanyl / Drugs
In 2021, over 106,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, many due to fentanyl, hitting our 3rd Congressional District hard. I'll dismantle the fentanyl distribution network and hold traffickers accountable. We'll expand legislation to prosecute those responsible for fatal overdoses and prioritize mental health treatment to prevent drug use. Leadership, compassion, and education are vital to protect our communities.

Accomplishments
When there were widespread calls to abolish ICE, Mike suited up and joined ICE Agents for a ride-along on Long Island, resulting in the apprehension and deportation of two violent criminals in this country illegally!
As a civilian, Mike attended the 2022 ICT World Summit on Counterterrorism in Israel to hear from experts like David Bernea – the Director of Mossad. Mike supports the full destruction and eradication of Hamas and believes that we must cut the head of the snake – the Terror Republic of Iran – who is responsible for funding and directing Jewish hate both at home and abroad. Zero tolerance – an enemy of Israel is an enemy of the United States!
When NY Democrats gave countless handouts including free college tuition, drivers’ licenses, metro cards, and more to illegals, Mike used his platform to instead call for more assistance to the members of Gold Star families in recognition of their incredible sacrifice to this great country!
Mike was the leading opponent to the disastrous “Bail Reform” laws that have turned our communities into warzones and made a mockery of our justice system!
During the COVID pandemic, Mike was the early vocal opponent in NYS against Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio’s arbitrary lockdowns and metrics which crippled small business owners and damaged our children’s educational and personal development. He was also one of the first to call for a federal investigation into NY’s deadly Nursing Home policy!
Mike stood up against sanctuary city policies and introduced legislation that would allow ICE to access DMV records and a bill that would make it a Felony for someone here illegally to use a DMV form to register to vote!
Mike proudly stood tall against the ‘Defund the Police’ movement and was the only member of the NYS Assembly on Long Island to vote against ALL anti-police laws!
When NYPD Police Officers were attacked with buckets of water and other chemicals, Mike introduced legislation that would make such actions a Felony!
